Brief personal history: After the first Super Soviet hit the proxy battlefields of Southeast Asia, the United States rushed into an augmented humanity program under Title 50, Chapter 40 of the United States Code (called The 50/40 Project), developing some interesting "failures" before striking it rich with seventeen year old Brooklyn native Bill Davis, the son of immigrants from Manchester. Unfortunately, before the project's success could be replicated, the remote Alaskan lab was compromised and destroyed by Super Soviets tasked as clandestine services. Once in the field, Davis proved to be the superior of any ten Super Soviets, incapacitating a platoon of them and destroying their facility in a secret mission in the early 1980s. Jarhead has seen combat on every continent and returned to tell the tale. Agreeing to serve his country in the burgeoning conflicts of extrahumans, Jarhead sometimes feels like he's lived past his time.
