Faraway is a science fiction story by Hannibal Tabu. It was started March 31st, 1999, and has gone through revision after revision ever since (with some multi-year breaks along the way). It is based in the fictional continuity of The Crown, and is a kind of "side trip" story in the way Clay's Ark is a side trip for Octavia Butler's Patternmaster opus. It was slated to be published by British house Writers of Worlds in the third quarter of 2007, but the company (apparently) went out of business before they could publish my book (or anything else, and I foolishly ignored their offer of an advance thinking myself smarter than the game -- d'oh).
