OVERVIEW:
The deal was that I would design and make viable Smokecomic.com, then a non-working and slow-loading website, in exchange for an artist to work on comic book ideas I had and wanted to get going. I finished the site, despite some overwhelming issues getting artwork from the clients. The "quid" alas, never got around to "pro quo"-ing, so I took the site down. They subsequently went with another designer, but the way I integrated the storyline into the website (the story was about an intelligence agent, so the website convinced you that you'd hacked into the security agency's private server) is still one of my favorite concepts, and the art was gorgeous.
