"never miss what you never had, part 1: ... sisters ..."
Sunday, December 18, 2005

12/18/05: 4:49 PM: I have three sisters, on my father's side. That's true.

Our relationships are complicated. That's not great, but that's true.

They are all very private people, and the eldest and I have worked out an agreement where I won't discuss them nor our conversations publicly. That is what it is.

We're all trying to work on knowing one another, and that's no easy feat, partially due to a burden of needlessly complicated choices made by some of our elders. Que se-freakin-ra sera.

This page once held a considerable amount of prose I wrote while laboring under a great deal of misinformation and perceptions from singular parties without corroboration. This exacerbated the complications previously noted -- my guesses and opinions turned out to be way off base, feelings were hurt, chasms formed. I'm not happy about that, and I'm sorry for the further complications that it caused.

Yeah, we're all still trying to figure some things out, but for now those proceedings are closed to the public. Yes, I know, that's not the way I normally operate -- well, "it's not always rainbows and butterflies, it's compromise that moves us along," with apologies to Adam Levine. This is the way of things.

So, in the words of our homelands, "that's a wrap, Joe."
